Tonight, I shall stay home, cuddled up in bed reading Sherlock Holmes, eating chexmix, and drinking water. I shall end the night with a prayer and then rest.

Christmas:
Everyone always talks about how they want a “white” Christmas and how it never snows in Oklahoma.
Then?
We get snow and everyone complains about being stuck in the house or the roads being slick.
Do you people want snow in 78 degree weather? Good luck with that.
I wish you would all realize we finally have snow on Christmas Eve.

Just two weeks ago a young lady in my church lay her 3 month old baby down to sleep.
In the middle of the night, the baby stopped breathing on Earth and took it’s first breath of Heavenly air.
Obviously, the mother was so devistated. She promised our pastor that she would be at church the following Sunday—just a few days after the passing of her child.

I sometimes wonder why people are afraid to eat at restaurants by themselves. I find myself doing it often; not because of a lack of friends, solely for the peace.
